Queen's Destiny is a small, black-owned business that was created in 2024 by me, Zylah King! I make handmade bath and body products that prioritize your skin's needs.

This business started with a passion and much faith, and now it is blossoming into a wonderful business that so many amazing people are supporting! It started in Winterville NC, where I've always been. Although starting my business has it's ups and downs, I've found that I truly love it for what is it!

I have some of my product in several wonderful shops around the Greenville NC area! I'm so grateful that these businesses and business owners gave me the chance to get my product out there. These shops include a Boutique, a Coffee Shop, and a couple of Hair Salons! Visit the Home Page to view the shops and where they're located!

The owner of Queen's Destiny is me, Zylah King! I am a black woman who just happens to love making things, especially soap!

I grew up in Winterville NC, and even when I was a child I loved making body products! Now I wasn't handling lye and stuff yet (lol) but I definitely stole my mom's sugar, coconut oil, and food coloring to make sugar scrubs all the time. I loved watching D.I.Y videos and creating stuff from what seemed like nothing, and then I ventured into creating things you could actually use!

Although I tapped into my passion, and ultimately purpose, at a young age, I wasn't able to hone in on it the way I should've been able to. I'm fact, it seemed like I was moving away from it completely without even realizing. I went through a lot of random, crazy stuff around that time that I couldn't understand, and it was slowly talking me away from who I was; it was killing me. But one day something changed. One day, when things were so so dark, God came to me and gave me a glimpse, just a glimpse of what my purpose was in life. He spoke life into my body, and for once in my life I felt something within myself that made me want to fight the darkness inside of me, instead of surrendering to it.

It took me a while to understand that my purpose was connected to my love of making bath and body products, but when the time was right, God pulled that out of the hat of suppressed memories and showed me my true potential. This journey wasn't easy, but it was the journey that made me so I am today!

Queen's Destiny came about when I finally remembered my passion for making body products. I loved making bath and body products at a young age, but with all of the hardships and things that I went through (see above section), I completely lost my passion for it. It's like I completely forgot how much not it brought me.

After some time when I was ready to remember this forgotten passion, God brought it back to me and reminded me of the love I had for making body products! He showed me how it was part of my purpose in life, which is why I'd brings me joy. He showed me how He was preparing me to start my business, and encouraged me to stay strong! With faith in Him and strength from my passion, I was able to stay my business and go for it!

I originally didn't want to sell my products, but God showed me how much potential I have in this business simply because it was His will for my life and it was what I was made to do! My end goal with this business is to ultimately build the people of this world up and bring everyone together again! I want everyone to live their lives in peace, and I want everyone to be wise.

We all go through things in life and sometimes we have no idea what we're doing, and that's normal. I want to share my story, and I want to share the wisdom that God has given me because I took the time to take to test God's word and His wisdom. I did the things no one wants to do, I went through things no one wishes to endure. I allowed God to show me who He really was by listening to Him, seeking Him in everything, and disciplining myself to think different about life in general.

By doing all of these things and more, I realized that God was always right, even when I couldn't see it or understand it. I finally understood how to align with His timing and change my life for the better, which healed me from the inside out. Now that I have that understanding, all I want to do is share it with the world and help those who are lost like I once was!

I didn't meet God in the church. I met God in darkness, surrounded by demons that wanted me dead. I talked to Him in our secret place and I got to know Him for who He is. There is so much trauma and pain around the church, and there are so many Christians who have prioritized the church and it's traditions over God, which hardens their hearts and takes them further away from God. I want to rebuild the Church and build a community of True Christians who carry God in their hearts, not just in a building. I want people to feel God within them through the Holy Spirit.

I want people who are depressed to find joy that they didn't know existed. I want people who are stuck in addiction to feel free from those urges and desires. I want to help people find out who they truly are and show them the lies that the enemy has planted in their lives. I want to destroy the idea of judging people and embrace the idea of loving people. I want to tear down the norm of holding grudges against people and establish the fact that we truly hate people's actions and wrongdoings, not who they are.

There are so many little things that I've learned in this walk with God that have saved me from myself. Things I thought were right or justified, when in reality it was wrong, pointless, and was only hurting me. I want to help God heal the world the same way He healed me!

On the other hand, I also want to help people with their skincare! Taking care of yourself physically is just as important as taking care of yourself mentally, and spiritually. There are so many products on the market that are not good for our skin. I want to establish a business that prioritizes the needs of the skin, and prioritizes transparency with my customers on what my products are.

My main goal with my products is to make a wide variety of products that tailor to multiple skin types. I have dry skin, so creating products for dry skin is a lot easier for me, and it's what I'm starting out with. However, I am excited to learn more about the other skin types and try my hand at creating products that tailor to those skin types needs!

There are so many people out there with different skin issues and challenges. I want to challenge myself to find ways I can help those people or at least put somebody on the right track of creating a solution for these problems. Just because only a handful of people deal with a certain condition doesn't mean that they should have to suffer because not enough people have it, and it shouldn't cost an arm and a leg to be comfortable in your own body. I want to provide products that help people who can't find the help they need. I want people to feel comfortable in their own skin and understand what kind of skin they have. I want to educate people and establish an understanding of how to properly shop for different products when it comes to your skin type.

I have so many goals when it comes to this business, which is why I call it a journey because I know that it won't happen overnight. I am hoping to continue to learn new things and grow in this business so that I can create products that change people's lives, even if it's on a minute scale. I wish to build a community of people who are willing to tag along with me on this journey, encourage me, push me to do better, and enjoy life for what is truly is!
