Honey, I'm Home Artisan Soap Bar

Honey, I’m Home is a honey/bee themed soap that smells so warm and inviting! It smells like a warm, inviting home, and makes you feel nice and safe. It has notes of honey, nectar, bergamot, brown sugar, musk, and almond. Trust me, you’ll fall in love with this scent!

I wanted the design of this soap to have elements that remind you of bees and honey, so I split the soap into two main parts. The bottom half of the soap would represent bees, and the top half would represent honey! I alternated between black and yellow for the bottom half of the soap, layering them on top of one another so that they will appear as stripes on the finished bars. For the top layer I made yellow, white, and a goldish-tan color. I swirled them together in a pouring bowl, and then poured the swirled colored into the mold on top of the bottom layer. This swirl technique is called the ‘In The Bucket Swirl’, since you’re swirling the colors in a separate container before pouring it into the mold! I separated the two layers with a gold mica line, and kept the top of the soap completely flat with a honeycomb soap embed on top!
